  • The broad interests of the BEAMS society provides substancial opportunities for innovations to arise.
  • BEAMS will take an active role in managing innovations, and leveraging this for the benefit of the population.
  • Innovation management will focus in identifying ideas and concepts early, with the view to determining best routes for extracting value.
  • The management process will be transparent and collaborative, and will take advantage of the broad range of expertise brought in by the BEAMS members.

Collaborative Innovation

Doctors, researchers and IP specialists will come together to explore new opportunities in different fields.

Technology Transfer Education

We aim to provide bespoke education to doctors to increase their knowledge in technology transfer, and the steps to take when a new idea or innovation is developed. From ownership of an idea to commercialization. 

Horizon Scanning

We will help to identify new tools, techniques and equipment that can be useful. We will also assist with reviewing and provide a summary to the steering committee who can then decide what’s the best way to explore opportunities.
